Woobie

Technical: Sketched and inked by hand, coloured in photoshop. I tried to shade it, but it just came out looking wonky - somebody please teach me to shade! Know any good tutorials specifically on shading? Anyway, the upshot of that is I'm going to replace this picture with a properly shaded version whenever I can. *sigh*

Creative: We were on holiday on the Gold Coast, and I was sketching out of boredom. Only I had this pose in my head, but no male teenage model. So I figured, hey, why not, and used a mirror. Basically I drew my face and then widened the jaw and shortened the hair. (The mouth gave me SUCH gyp, and it's STILL not right.)

So... say hello to my male alter ego! First person to call Harry Potter gets a lovingly wrapped half-brick to the face! Yaaaay!
